Murder! Would You?

Unlike most sixteen-year-old girls, who wanted fancy purses and Abercrombie and Fitch jeans from the mall, I wanted something a little different. I wanted dolphin figurines, puzzles, t-shirts, necklaces, and anything else related to dolphins. Dolphins were my passion and from what I knew everybody loved them. Boy was I wrong!

On July 31st, 2009 “The Cove” was finally available at the Red box. I heard there was a beautiful movie about my favorite animal “The Dolphin” that was just released out on DVD, and me being the dolphin fanatic I am, just had to see it. I rented the movie the second I caught wind that it was available. I ran home, threw it in the DVD player, jumped into my comfy, plush La-Z-Boy and flipped the recliner. The sound beautiful melodies were astonishing as they started showing dolphins jumping in and out of the water, splashing and playing with other dolphins, flipping wildly. Men jumped onto their boats early in the morning laughing and carrying on, and I thought they were headed out to sea to watch the beautiful dolphins for the day. They had spears, maybe to keep the sharks away if any were to wander into the territory.  Little did I know, I was about to witness one of the biggest dolphin massacres in history!
